The Two Rivers Chapter is very pleased to be able to offer free hands-on computer classes to our members. Non members may attend for a small fee. Our next computer class will be held on May 17, 2008 at Edward Hospital and will focus on Sharing Data Between Office Programs. We'll cover some of the various ways you can share your information across programs - from mail merges to charts to copying and pasting shortcuts and linking data. Discover the myriad ways you can share data more efficiently.

Speaker Change for May 12, 2008 Meeting

Due to a scheduling conflict for our planned speaker in May, we have rescheduled our weather-canceled February program instead. Paula Kosin of Career Vision will be speaking on Square Peg in a Round Hole, which will focus on helping you identify your best niche. You won't want to miss this educational meeting and we really need our members to come out in force because we will also be electing our chapter officers for the 2008-2009 program year. What a FABULOUS Event!

We truly believe this has been our best Administrative Professionals Week event ever! Almost 250 attendees had the opportunity to visit our vendor expo (sold out with 49 booths), sample the delicious dinner provided by On The Border Catering, listen to the awesome Ac Rock acapella band, learn more about the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) and the Two Rivers Chapter, and discover Networking Skills for Administrative Professionals, which was lead by Lillian Bjorseth of Duoforce Enterprises, Inc.

What an absolutely wonderful evening we had!!! Of course, no matter how fabulous it was, that doesn't mean we aren't already thinking about how we can make next year even better!

Well if you haven't gotten around to RSVP'ing for our April 21 extravaganza, we've granted you a small extension. You have until tomorrow - Tuesday, April 15, 2008, to sign up for this amazing event and join over 200 of your peers in celebrating Administrative Professionals Week by Discovering the Possibilities of IAAP.

Our vendor expo is sold out with 49 vendors standing by to show their products and services.

If you'd like to help, Two Rivers Chapter members are asked to come out for our folder and goodie bag stuffing party on Wednesday night, April 16 at the Holiday Inn Select. The chapter will be providing pizza and salad.
