Next Regular Meeting - October 8, 2007
On October 8, 2007, we'll be having our next regular meeting of the Two Rivers Chapter. Our program will be Ten Tips For Communicating With Your Boss and will be presented by Stephanie Danner of OfficeTeam. Members are encouraged to invite their executive to attend this meeting and the chapter will provide dinner to the bosses at no charge.
New Treasurer - Catherine Korth
Congratulations to our new Treasurer for the 2007-2008 year, Catherine Korth. It was a hotly contested election with three candidates stepping forward. We are so excited to receive this wonderful response from our members and we hope that the two members that were not elected will step up to fill other roles within our chapter. We welcome their involvement.

Another Example of What a Great Chapter We Are
Recently our treasurer announced that due to logistics (she was driving an hour to get to our chapter), she was going to have to resign, as she was planning to transfer to a newly forming chapter that was much closer to her workplace/home. Naturally that made us a little nervous, but we are thrilled that after announcing this change to our members, they have stepped forward to take on the role. Looks like we will have our chapter's first contested election for this position at our September meeting.
We have also had members respond to our requests for volunteers to take over web site maintenance, develop a newsletter and more!
In yet another example, we recently learned that we would be unable to meet where we thought we were going to be meeting. Members stepped up and found us alternative meeting locations to save the day.
What a great chapter we have and we are so proud of our members!!!
